A massive well done to everyone who graded with us on Saturday! 
We had our Red, Yellow, Orange and Green belts taking their gradings, followed by our Yellow White, Orange White, Green White and Purple Stripe grades coming in for their workshop assessments.
It was a little quieter than some of our usual grading weekends, but actually, that can be a really good thing.
It gives us more time to properly watch everyone, see how they are progressing, pick up on the little things that need improving and make sure the standard stays exactly where it should be.
It also gives us, as instructors, a really useful picture of what we need to work on collectively in classes over the next three months.
Are the basics sharp?
Is the effort there?
Are techniques improving?
Is everyone meeting the criteria for their next grade?
Because grading isn’t just about getting another belt around your waist. It’s about making sure you’re genuinely ready for the next step.
So now the work continues. Keep training hard, keep listening, keep improving and keep pushing yourselves.
The next stage of your martial arts journey has already started.
