The HKA Day Show was an unforgettable celebration of kickboxing talent, courage, and community spirit. Hastings Kombat Academy welcomed fighters from clubs across the South East, creating an electric atmosphere filled with competition, support, and pride. Families, fans, and teammates packed the venue, bringing incredible energy throughout the entire event.
This Day Show wasn’t just about results, it was about giving fighters the chance to grow, learn, and showcase the values that make our academy stand out: courage, discipline, respect, and teamwork.
HKA proudly presented 14 fighters, several of whom stepped into the ring for the very first time. The bravery and heart shown by every competitor truly reflected the strength of our HKA community.
Fight Highlights
Summer Moyce
Summer opened the day with a challenging matchup. Using her long legs to control distance, she worked hard to keep her opponent at range. Despite her determination and focused effort, her opponent managed to take the win. A strong start and a great learning experience for Summer.
Tom Chetwode
Competing in only his second fight, Tom displayed impressive composure and strength. He controlled all three rounds with confidence, demonstrating skill and focus that earned him a clear, well-deserved victory.
Tilly-Jean Jones
A standout performance from Tilly-Jean in her debut fight. Having joined HKA just ten months ago, she showed incredible discipline and listened perfectly to her coaches throughout. Her technique and determination secured her an impressive first win.
Zavien Corbett
After settling nerves in the opening round, Zavien found his rhythm and began pushing his opponent back with strong kicks. Despite his effort and improvements as the rounds progressed, the win ultimately went to the other fighter. A brave performance from Zavien.
Jayden Hartnup-Hamid
A confident and technically skilled fighter, Jayden controlled the pace from start to finish. His clean techniques and composed performance earned him a clear and well-deserved win.
Jayen Corbett
Jayen entered the ring like a true powerhouse. From the first bell, he applied pressure, pushing his opponent back and maintaining dominance throughout. His speed, energy, and skill earned him a decisive victory.
Felicity Entwistle
In her first-ever fight, Felicity stepped into the ring with confidence and focus. Using her long legs effectively, she controlled each round and showcased excellent technique. She secured a clear and convincing win — an outstanding debut.
Quentin Jirbandy
Quentin also made his debut, facing a strong and determined opponent. Although the decision didn’t go his way, Quentin showed bravery, heart, and a willingness to push forward — all qualities that will take him far in the sport.
Sam Bromley
Sam took on not one but two bouts during the Day Show. Both were hard-fought and competitive, with Sam showing resilience, grit, and dedication across every round. The wins went to his opponents, but his spirit was unmistakable.
TJ Brodie
Another first-time fighter, young TJ stepped into the ring with courage and enthusiasm. He worked hard from start to finish, even glancing at the crowd now and then to find his mum! His effort and attitude made for a brilliant debut, regardless of the result.
Jayden (Second Fight)
Returning for his second bout of the day, Jayden once again showed his technical abilities and calmness under pressure. It was a close and exciting fight, though this time the victory went to his opponent.
Iyden Hartnup-Hamidi
Iyden entered the ring with experience behind him, but nerves made this match more challenging. Despite this, his natural talent and technical ability continue to shine. Another valuable step in his development as a young fighter.
Jack Best
Making a return to the ring after some time away, Jack looked sharp, confident, and composed. He controlled the fight beautifully, pushing forward with purpose and showcasing real skill. His performance earned him a clear and commanding win.
Ryan Falibaga
Ryan made his ring debut with energy, determination, and huge heart. He gave everything from start to finish, but his opponent proved stronger on the day. An impressive first showing and a brilliant foundation for future bouts.
Thomas Driver
Closing the HKA lineup, Thomas delivered a gritty, determined, and fast-paced performance. Both fighters came out strong and hungry for the win. The decision went to the other lad, but Thomas gave everything until the final bell — an inspiring finish to an incredible day.
A Day to Remember
The HKA Day Show was more than a competition, it was a celebration of South East kickboxing, bringing together clubs, coaches, fighters, and families from across the region. Every HKA member represented the academy with pride, showing the values that sit at the heart of our training and community.
